Painting for The Princes Trust

NEWBURY ART FAIR POSTPONED UNTIL July 2021

Painting for the Princes Trust 2020

I completed a small version of “Turquoise Wave II” in order to raise funds for the Prince’s Trust last year at the Contemporary Art Fair Newbury 2020. (See the picture below)

My painting sold online alongside many other paintings donated by artists who were meant to be taking part in last years Contemporary Art Fair Newbury. The fair is held at Newbury Racecourse, RG14 5AW.

I will paint another seascape for this year’s Contemporary Art Fair Newbury 2021 for the Painting for the Princes Trust canvas sale. The Art Fair s now to be held the last weekend of July. From Friday 30th July to Sunday 1st August. I will be on stand 54. All welcome to attend. I do hope to see you there.

Over the past sixteen years the Contemporary Art Fairs have raised more than £78,000 through the artists’ miniature sale. During the run up to the fair they invite exhibitors and other budding artists to produce a 20 x 20 cm miniature canvas in their own style and in any medium. The miniature canvas sale for The Prince’s Trust is sold on a first come, first serve basis for £45 each.

The Princes Trust state… “We believe that every young person should have the chance to embrace exciting opportunities. So, we help 11 to 30 year-olds to find the tools and confidence to try free courses and start careers. We are open to young people aged 11 to 30 from all over the UK – no matter if they have been facing some serious issues such as homelessness or if they’ve been in trouble with the law. If they’re willing to aim high – we are here.

“We have returned £1.4 billion in value to society through our help for young people over a period of just ten years.”

“Working with delivery partners across the UK to offer hundreds of free courses, grants and mentoring opportunities to inspire young people to build their confidence and start a career. The Princes Trust will be there to support them to achieve their full potential.”  Princes Trust Website
