Perranporth is one my favourite beaches in to visit and is one of Cornwall’s best known and most popular beaches. Boasting an enormous expanse of golden sand, great surf and all the offerings you would expect from a seaside resort – including a pub literally on the beach – the Watering Hole.

The beaches of Perran Sands, Penhale Sands and Perranporth combine at low tide to form a stretch of sand reaching north from Perranporth to Ligger Point, the other side of which is Holywell Bay. Perran Sands Beach is a popular surfing venue, and a good family beach.

The west-facing sand and pebble beach is backed by sand dunes and cliffs. Newquay town centre is just 8 miles north of the town by road and boasts a range of fine family and surfing beaches.

Here is a selection of paintings which have inspired that special place. Some are available to buy online others I have sold but are available as giclee prints. Alternatively I am happy to receive commissions for new work either based on previous paintings or new ones. Just contact me using the form at the end of this page.
