“Abstract blue yellow and red” Giclée Fine Art Print is available in various sizes on Hahnemüle Pearl paper.
“Abstract in Blue, Yellow & Red” is one of my abstract paintings examining colour combinations. Inspired by both contemporary abstract artists and those pioneers working in the 1940’s. I want the viewer to feel the power of placing one primary opposite colour next to another. This gives off vibrations in this painting. The original painting is here.
Blue is known for its trust and dependability. It’s reliable, responsible, and mentally soothing. For that reason alone, it’s one of the most-liked colors across the entire world. Yellow is the epitome of joy, happiness, cheerfulness, optimism—you name it. Anything happy is almost always yellow. The wavelength of yellow is particularly long. This makes it have one of the most powerful psychological meanings, whilst also being the easiest color to visibly see. (Did you know yellow is the first color infants respond to?). Red is a very powerful, dynamic color that reflects our physical needs whether to show affection and love, or to portray terror, fear, and survival. Red is also a very energizing color that can portray friendliness and strength, but can also be demanding and show aggression depending on its context.
has a smooth orange peel texture and a bright neutral white base, it creates really natural black and white images and offers vibrant colour reproduction and great detail too. Resin coated the paper has a fibrous feel. The satin finish of the resin coating gives depth to the image which combined with the texture and vibrant colour reproduction give the image the feel of an oil painting. This is one of the most suitable of the Giclée Art Paper range for mounting.
The word Giclée (“g-clay”),
is derived from the French verb gicler meaning “to squirt or spray”, Giclee, is used to describe a fine art digital printing process combining pigment based inks with high quality archival quality paper to achieve Giclée prints of superior archival quality, light fastness and stability.
